ROB MICHELS: the Man Behind the Camera

Rob Michels has been very passionate about horror movies his entire life. In 2010 Rob and some freinds decided to make a horror short just to see what would happen.  The result became known as DEMON'S LUTE, a short movie about SATAN in the form of a guitar that possesses a rocker and makes him kill his bandmates! DEMON'S LUTE was made with no money but it had a nice flow to it and was fast-paced. Rob then got more excited about making movies, and began filming another short called DEAD DRUNK, which he and Shayne White made in less than a day from start to final cut. At this point Rob was addicted to making movies, but working a full time job has tied up alot of movie-making time. However, with the right scheduling he still finds time to shoot a day here and there. He just finished his latest short FLESH-EATING FOG and is in the process of editing KILLING IS MY BUSINESS, as well as being busy in pre-production on the next project.

SHAYNE WHITE: The Guy behind the Gore.

I'd like to introduce the guy behind the gore at Screaming Like Banshees productions, Shayne White.  Shayne has been hard at work over the last year reading books and learning everything he can about special make-up F/X. Shayne is completely self-taught and learns as he goes. He also is a part-time actor in most of our films. Screaming Like Banshees productions is currently shooting on extremely small budgets , and i think Shayne does the best he can with whats available.

Shayne has had the chance to stab heads, be gutted by guitar strings, be haunted by the ghost of a drunk, fight werewolves, shoot people, melt people,  get choked by a hallucination, dislimb people, suffocate people, deal with Detective Donnelly,  get his heart ripped out, etc. all for the sake of low-budget movie making, now thats pretty cool.

 We look forward to working with Shayne on our next film, which will begin filming this spring.
